The University of Michigan Health Frankel Cardiovascular Center has vascular medicine experts who can talk about chronic venous insufficiency, its symptoms and treatments.

The White House announced that President Trump had been diagnosed with this condition, which occurs when superficial or deep veins are not working properly and is increasingly common over the age of 50.

Experts include:

Andrea Obi, vascular surgeon and associate professor of vascular surgery at U-M Medical School.

Peter Henke, vascular surgeon, section chair of vascular surgery and a director of the U-M Health Frankel Cardiovascular Center. He is also the Leland Ira Doan Professor of Surgery at U-M Medical School.
