EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT

DATE: Halftime at University of Michigan vs. Central Michigan University football game; game starts at noon Sept. 13.

EVENT: The University of Michigan Marching Band will perform songs from the Broadway musical and smash feature film “Wicked” in celebration of the film’s forthcoming sequel, “Wicked: For Good.”

The show will be performed in collaboration with the U-M School of Music, Theatre & Dance, combining the talents of the Michigan Marching Band, a keyboard percussion ensemble from the Percussion Studio, and vocals and choreography from the Department of Musical Theatre.

Musical selections will include:

  • “No One Mourns the Wicked”
  • “Popular”
  • “Dancing Through Life”
  • “Defying Gravity”
