Rec Sports offers Challenge Program
The University Record, March 22, 1999
The Department of Recreational Sports Challenge Program offers team-building opportunities in team-building. Courses offered include Team Energizers, Mini-Courses and Teambuilders.
Thirty-minute “Team Energizers” are designed to jump-start staff meetings. The program emphasizes synergy and setting a positive tone.
Mini-Courses, two to three hours, are for stirring up energy to begin a training seminar or explore a specific problem area. On-site interactive games and activities led by a professional facilitator provide a chance for teamwork.
Short- or full-day Teambuilding Programs target goals and concerns of departments and teams. Programs incorporate a variety of experimental activities to provide organizational learning opportunities. These programs are conducted at the Challenge Program facility, located at the Radrick Recreation Area.
