It’s a New York state of mind at the Museum of Art. Bonnie Lembitz and Bob Heyman view “New York Observed: The Mythology of the City,” an exhibition of 80 photographs capturing life in the Big Apple from the 18th to 20th centuries. The exhibit coincides with the first anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks and runs through Sept. 22. (Photo by Marcia Ledford, U-M Photo Services).
