‘Guys and Dolls’
Don't miss

The Musical Theatre Department will present the musical comedy “Guys and Dolls” at 8 p.m. Oct. 9-11 and 2 p.m. Oct. 11-12 at the Lydia Mendelssohn Theater in the Michigan League.
Based on the Broadway stories of Damon Runyan, “Guys and Dolls” tells the tale of Nathan Detroit—the organizer of the oldest established permanent floating craps game in New York, who bets fellow gambler Sky Masterson that he can’t make the next girl he sees fall in love with him.
“Guys and Dolls” won a Best Musical Tony Award for its 1951 original production.
Featuring the songs “Luck Be a Lady” and “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat,” the play is a balance of story, dance, music and romance.
Tickets, $15 and $20 for the general public; $8 for students with ID, are available at the Michigan League Ticket Office 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. Tickets also can be purchased by phone at (734) 764-2538.
