SmithMingyan Liu , assistant professor of electrical engineering and computer science, is the recipient of a National Science Foundation CAREER Award for her proposal, “Capacity-driven Design of Large-scale Wireless Sensor Networks.” The CAREER program recognizes and supports the early career-development activities of teacher-scholars it considers most likely to become the academic leaders of the 21st century.
