Participants in the MLK Symposium Cultural Fair share foods and traditions with each other. Shervin Beygi, a second-year Ph.D. student in industrial and operations engineering and a member of the Persian Students Association, writes visitors’ names in Persian at the Feb. 3 event. Multi-ethnic student groups hosted the fair and shared various foods and traditions. The event was sponsored by the American Society for Engineering Education, College of Engineering. The MLK Symposium concludes Feb. 12 with a speech by Ernest Green, one of the Little Rock Nine.
