LSI hosting faculty open houses in March March 8, 2004 Estimated reading time: 1 minutes The Life Sciences Institute (LSI) is inviting U-M faculty to attend one of three open houses in March to see the new institute from the inside, meet some institute faculty and learn about the new kind of science being practiced there. “We would like all U-M faculty to learn about what we are doing, and to feel welcome here,” says LSI Director Alan Saltiel. “The University has built a magnificent hub for scientific collaboration across the campus, and we’re excited to share what we’ve been doing.” Faculty open houses will be at 3 p.m. March 18, 10 a.m. March 25 and 11 a.m. March 30. The institute also will host a public open house and tours from 2-4 p.m. May 14 in conjunction with its grand opening activities.
