Installation of 15 Ergopods on campus by Information Technology Central Services during the past two years—including this station at the Angell Hall computing site—is near completion. The U-M Adaptive Technology Computing Site and Ergoquest Inc. of Grand Rapids developed the ergonomically adjustable workstations, which are designed primarily for people with disabilities or special ergonomic needs. They are equipped with PC and a Macintosh computers, accessibility software, an ergonomic keyboard, trackball, closed-circuit TV, scanner and headset. A list of Ergopod locations is available at www.umich.edu/~sites/info/atcs/HTML/Ergopod.html. (Photo by Scott Galvin, U-M Photo Services)
