One of the world’s leading violinists now in her 24th season, Japan’s Midori performs more than 100 concerts each year. She is joined by Robert MacDonald on piano at 4 p.m., March 11 at Hill Auditorium. Midori made her University Musical Society (UMS) debut with the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra in 1991, and last performed in Ann Arbor at Hill Auditorium in January 2004.
