ANN ARBOR—Five University of Michigan professors have been awarded Guggenheim Fellowships, given annually for distinguished achievement in the past and exceptional promise for future accomplishments.

The faculty: Michael P. Flynn, associate professor of electrical engineering and computer science; Enrique Garc
