Don’t miss: UMHS Summer Courtyard Concert Series to begin
Celebrate the summer with jump-swing band the Bluescasters on June 2 opening the U-M Health System Summer Courtyard Concert Series. The concerts, presented by Gifts of Art, all take place noon-1 p.m. in the University Hospital Courtyard.
The Ann Arbor-based blues group performs at festivals and nightclubs throughout southeastern Michigan. Formed in 2004, the Bluescasters includes Doug Wolgat on bass and Harry Rodman on drums, the guitar playing of Brian Delaney and the multi-instrumental skills of Phil Ryski on harmonica, guitar and piano.
The group plays a mixture of groove-oriented and up-tempo blues originals as well as local favorites. The Bluescasters also incorporate instrumental and vocal harmonies.
The rain location is the University Hospital Main Lobby, Floor 1.
