“Death of a Salesman” playwright and U-M alumnus Arthur Miller in April 2004 examined plans for 250-seat Arthur Miller Theatre. He was most concerned about the flexibility of the space and how theater students would be able to try out different stagings. Miller died in February 2005 at age 89. Eight months later, the theater was named in his honor.
