Linda Randolph, senior computing consultant in the College of the Engineering, has been elected to the Police Department Oversight Committee for a two-year term.

The committee receives and makes recommendations regarding grievances against any police officer or the U-M Police Department.

The six-member oversight committee consists of two student members, two faculty members (one Senate and one non-Senate faculty), and two staff members (one union and one non-union). They are nominated and elected by their peers for two-year terms.

Randolph, the newly elected non-union staff representative, began her term Monday.
