U-M doctor testifies on “orphan drug” loophole

Kao-Ping Chua, assistant professor of pediatrics, testified Wednesday before the Health Subcommittee of the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee. Chua spoke in favor of a provision that would remove a loophole in the nation’s “orphan drug” law.
