Advisory committee named for Nursing dean search

The search process has started for the next dean of the School of Nursing.

Dean Patricia Hurn’s term concludes in July 2026, and Provost Laurie McCauley has announced the appointment of the U-M advisory committee that will assist in the search. The committee met June 23 to receive its official charge.

Assisting the committee is executive search firm Isaacson, Miller. Representing the firm are Partners Amy Segal and Stephanie Fidel, and Senior Associate Erin Schwass. The team has extensive expertise and a successful history of managing nursing-related searches.

The search advisory committee includes representatives from faculty, staff and students of the school and other members of the university community:
