Staff members planning their professional growth are urged to begin researching now for the 2026 Career Development Fund for Staff grant application, which officially opens Feb. 1.

The CDF provides funding for a broad range of professional development activities, including tuition support, conferences, workshops and other learning resources. The program’s goal is to accelerate career growth across the organization.

To maximize readiness for the February application, staff must identify opportunities that align with the specific grant period. CDF grants are awarded for eligible activities scheduled between July 1, 2026, and June 30, 2027.

Taking time this month to find a course, conference or certification that fits this future timeline will save time and improve the chances of securing funding when the application opens next month. Staff are encouraged to start their research immediately.

Staff are encouraged to be prepared to join this successful group by researching opportunities now and applying on Feb. 1. Additionally, staff interested in learning more about the application process are encouraged to register for a webinar scheduled for Feb. 5.
