The Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies, U-M Society of Fellows, and ProQuest Information and Learning invite the University community to attend the annual Distinguished Dissertation Awards ceremony and reception 2-4 p.m. April 24 in the Michigan League’s Vandenberg Room.

Eight U-M scholars will receive a $1,000 honorarium in recognition of their exceptional scholarly work as a doctoral student and completion of their doctoral degree during 2002. A reception for the honorees and scholars who were nominated follows the ceremony.
