Photos: Michael Moore’s ‘Slacker Uprising Tour’ hits Hill Auditorium

Estimated reading time: 1 minutes
Activist and filmmaker Michael Moore (above) brought his singular brand of populist politics to campus Sept. 29 in a rally intended to encourage students to register to vote. In a sold-out show at Hill Auditorium, Moore combined his largely anti-President Bush commentary with deleted scenes from his documentary “Fahrenheit 9/11,” fake Bush campaign ads, and an extended question and answer session. (Below) Supporters of President Bush demonstrate outside Hill before Moore’s remarks. The tour is scheduled to continue until election day (Nov. 2), with stops at 60 cities.
