Awards Scott Fogler, professor of chemical engineering, has won the American Society for Engineering Education’s 2005 Award for Lifetime Achievement in Chemical Engineering Pedagogical Scholarship. Rachel Goldman, associate professor of materials science and engineering, has been named a 2005-06 Radcliffe Institute Fellow at Harvard University for her project, “Directed Matrix Seeding of Semiconductor Nanostructure Arrays.” Christophe Pierre, professor of mechanical engineering, is the recipient of the 2005 N. O. Myklestad Award from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Design Engineering Division, in recognition of a major innovative contribution to vibration engineering. Jeremy Semrau, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering, and of natural resources and environment, recently received the 2005 Outstanding Alumnus Award from the University of Texas at Austin.
