Photo Services photographers Martin Vloet and Lin Jones recently were honored for their work by the University Photographers’ Association of America (UPAA). In the organization’s November competition Vloet captured first, second and third place in the sports category, including best photo, “Our Concerns Vary,” right, taken at the U-M vs. University of Miami basketball game Nov. 29. Jones nabbed first and second place in the portrait category, including the winning shot, “Magical Conductor,” of Chris Hill, below. Photo Services staff has earned eight UPAA awards in 2005-06.
