Crews raze Davidson Hall, Assembly Hall and the Paton Accounting Center to make way for the new Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Demolition began in April, just after classes ended for the academic year, and will continue through summer. The 270,000 square-foot, $145 million Ross School is expected to be completed in 2008. It will be named for Ross, whose $100 million gift to the school—the largest in the University’s history—will fund a major part of the building. (Photo by Scott Galvin, U-M Photo Services)
