Raising Voices: Mental Illness Inside Out, through June 1 at WORK exhibition space, 306 S. State, seeks to raise awareness about the realities of mental illness. Working in any medium, artists were encouraged to address these questions: How does mental illness change the life experiences of people with these diseases? And how do these individual experiences ripple out into the community—to families, health care systems and social services organizations? The original art work is by Candy Wei.
