Soon to complete graduate studies in Cologne, Germany, Detroit’s own Erik Asgeirsson has been featured at Amici Della Musica and Gustav Mahler Festivals (Italy) and performs regularly in the Deutsche Kammerakademie Orchestra (Neuss) and the Sinfonie Orchester Köln (Germany). He will perform solo works from Britten and Ligeti and Beethoven’s A Major Sonata, with pianist Pauline Martin, at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 10 at the Henry Ford Estate, UM-Dearborn.
