“Actress” by Emil Nolde, a watercolor on paper, is featured in the U-M Museum of Art exhibit “The Eye of the Beholder: European Drawings and Prints from the Pulgram-McSparran Collection,” through March 14. The exhibit features several items from the UMMA’s collection of the graphic work of early 20th-century art, including the work of German Expressionists.
