U-M bestows University Honors

ANN ARBOR—University of Michigan students from the Ann Arbor, Dearborn and Flint campuses were recognized for University Honors this spring at the annual Honors Convocation March 21.
For University Honors, students must have taken 14 credit hours and achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average for one term during the winter or fall 2009.
For James B. Angell Scholars, students must have taken 14 credit hours and maintained an all-A record for two or more consecutive terms as undergraduates.
Some members of the freshman class received the William J. Branstrom Prize, a book of their choice, for ranking in the top 5 percent of their class.
